              LEAVES IN TRONDHEIM

    LEAVES IN TRONDHEIM

    I will never forget
    this autumn in Trondheim.
    A real picture of nature,
a colourful flood of leaves ...
    in the city’s heart.

    Golden flowers flew like seagulls
    dancing over cafe tables
    around Nidaros Cathedral
and when the wind blew firmly
    with its autumnal message,
    rusty carpets blanketed our ground.

    I will never forget
    these past leaves in Trondheim,
when I felt like a little drop
    within a sea of inwardness;
like a serene leaf that vanishes
    and merges from eternal harmony.

    DANSE MACABRE OF LEAVES

    When a wild wind blows
    With November nostalgy persistent,
Days fall down one after another
    From a Tree-Life like a tears...
Among misty dance and lonely evenings,
Such is the autumn, a great teacher of humility,
A silent lesson for the soul that broods-
Of nocturne concert within the circle-fate...
    Wherefore the autumn anew
Like a danse macabre of leaves
And sure-fire reminder of timeless truth
    Before the last journey...

    CONTRASTS

    with your first cry
many tears of happiness and joy
    unlimited bliss
    that you are
the trees have come into leaf
    with your last breath
    only deep well of sorrow
    unlimited grief
as you vanish and embrace the night
black leaves dance in the fog
