    WHITE LACE OF CHILDHOOD

white lace hung from the ceiling
perfect veil for my imaginary wedding
    spin around, sadness princess
in your white veil spread your wings
raise curtains on the childhood memories

    lit up the chandeliers
    candle by candle
you and the shadow are dancing in the temple
chevaliers are gathering to see the splendor
you deepen in your dreamy mist,
you sip the fairy tale's taste..

    spin, spin around, sadness princess
light as a feather, deaf and blind altogether
no clouds, no fears, no lie curtains, no death silences
    no locks on dial phones
    no enemies dressed as saviors...

    scared by hostile whispers
    you stop the laced spin
the acid air sticks your eyes
the heavy curtain of despair falls back on your skin
again you hide beneath a gloomy shield...
    THE “SLIDE WORD”

    Your masque is your smile
I keep repeating the "slide" word
as I fall under your spell
your magic works on me smoothly
I can feel it under my skin,
    in the dagger that splits
    my chest every dawn
I cling myself with every teeth that I own
    of my reality shreds
waking up more and more confused
like the walls are laughing to my torment...
I spill the coffee on my new dress

I  deny you the right to enslave my whole world!
    The spell must be broken!
    The masque must be melted!

Now that the  panic attack have passed
Do I really want to open my eyes?!

                WALK THROUGH THE FIRE …..WELL

                                            Walk through the fire,
Let your skin be burnt to the bone
Bite your fist; no tear moistens your eyelid
Be brave in search of your grave
Silence be the patch to cover your mouth
Music not aloud when the hero is mourned
Ashes as snowflakes are dancing around
Slowly covering holes where eyeballs should be
Pain itself had left this body,
This cathedral has no echoes anymore
Walk through the fire, my soul
    Your flesh has no smell
    Fly over us,
    gravity demons betrayed by hell
    [IULIA GHERGHEI]
