WHEN WOMEN RULE
The gentle sway of the way the river wanders
Invigorates the flexing of her muscular soul
So while walking calmly on the shore
She can lift the scene
Far above conceptual levels
And give it back to god.

IMMORTALITY
Somehow death did not come
And life triumphant
Made more flowers and trees and animals
And people and their gods
That could not die
And this crowd roamed
The universe ferociously
Having forgotten
The love of life forever.

WOUND
When cut and that which looks like docile fire
Told that blood is not truly red
And does not desire
It is quick and dark in the vein
Black like roaring midnight rain.
